Back 2 Back Dhamakka shows
After a loooooo...ooong hibernation here I am back to blah...ging, oops! blogging :-)...
Last week we had back 2 back Dhamakka shows in Dallas...Both of them were very much hyped all over in Dallas, with the first one being hyped all over the world :-)))...Yes, I am talkin about the First Day Release of Shivaji and The AR Rahman Concert in Dallas...
"Shivaji" - Simply Superb :-)))) - Rating 8/10...worth the money spent...Rajini once again shows why he is the best in Indian cinema...
+ves of Shivaji(in the order of most +ve to least)
1) Rajini's Style :-)) - Watch out for the climax...u know why i gave no.1 for style ;-) Also the song "Adiradikaran machan machan...":-D
2) Shankar's Direction
3) Songs and ARR's music
4) Shriya - Wow! what a pretty looking face...
5) Comedy
6) Scene selection appealing for all range of ppl
7) Movie Crux
-ves of Shivaji(in the order of more -ve to least)
1) Songs location mostly indoors...I was hoping that "Sahana saral thoovuthoo..."song would be totally outdoors picturising the natural beauty but got a bit disappointed seeing the indoor set for a nice song...
2) Talents of Big actors like Raghuvaran not being exploited...
3) BGM - I felt BGM was not that good when compared with Baasha...Rahman could have done better...;-)
Finally, I feel that the movie will be a big blockbuster hit if not in other parts of the world certainly in Chennai with rajini fanatics like me around will surely make this movie a success;-)
Watching Shivaji on Thursday we didn't drop off our enthu becos we had booked for yet another enthusiastic show "The Mozart of Chennai - ARR show"...This is the first time I am attending ARR concert...ARR didnt disappoint his fans in his Dallas show...We were brought to the edge of the seat by the singers

I could feel Sujatha absence when "Roja Janeman...Tuj bin tharse nayna" humming was sung by Shreya Goshal...To me thats the best high pitched humming I have ever heard and the foremost reason why she tops my favorite singers list...:-D
"Pray for me brother" by ARR was highlight of the evening..."We are the boys..." from Boys and "Dil se re" songs were rocking numbers for which we gave a standing ovation to the crew :-D...
Finally the "Vande Mataram" song to end the musical extravaganza...It was a nice evening and any music lovers wouldn't have been disappointed attending the show...
After all these fun, I was so tired that I bunked the office next day ;-)...
